Monkhouse & Bannisters is an established firm of professional Estate Agents, Chartered Surveyors and Valuers who specialise in the sale and valuation of rural and village houses, equestrian and agricultural properties throughout Sussex and the adjoining counties and the management of rural estates and farms.  The seven Partners, who are all Chartered Surveyors, provide a wide range of expertise in related matters and between them can boast well over 180 years of experience working in the South East.

The firm has two regional offices, one at Pulborough and one at Haywards Heath.  From these two offices, all services relating to residential and rural estate agency and a wide range of rural based professional property services are provided across the whole of West and East Sussex and into the adjoining counties.

The present Partnership was formed in 2000 as a result of the amalgamation of two highly respected firms, both of which carried reputations for being leading firms in their specialist areas.  Monkhouse and Partners, which was based in Pulborough, had six partners, all of whom had worked together for many years in the original, long established firm of King and Chasemore and who undertook a management buyout in 1993.  T Bannister & Co had been based in Haywards Heath since 1866 and was well known for the large livestock market which was run by the firm, as well as for the estate agency and general professional work, which has continued since closure of the market.

Together the partners provide a wealth of experience, which is utilised in a highly respected sales, valuation and marketing service to existing and new clients alike, as well as in the general professional and management functions which it undertakes.  The Partners are backed up by a qualified and trained staff as well as friendly, efficient and experienced team of about 14 dedicated support staff.
