What is an 'Agricultural Property'?
We all think we know what an Agricultural Property is but we have found that all of the following examples come within this category:
• A farmhouse or country house with a few acres for protection and amenity use;
• Former farm buildings for conversion to residential or other uses;
• A smallholding with a dwelling, which is sometimes subject to an agricultural occupancy planning condition;
• A 1000 acre farm with a notable principal house, cottages, woodland and farm buildings;
• A small paddock;
• A family nursery or other horticultural property
At Monkhouse & Bannisters, we understand and can advise on all of these categories of property
The Partners are all qualified Chartered Surveyors who have trained as rural practice surveyors and are ready to meet the changing demands of the countryside and agriculture as it moves towards a free market
